Basic arsenate of zinc; some copper may be present

Color and Luster: Light yellow, honey yellow, brownish yellow, pale green, yellowish green, rarely colorless; vitreous

Hardness:3.5

Cleavage: Good in one direction, poor in a second

Fracture: Uneven

Crystals: Orthorhombic; usually prismatic or horizontally elongatd; often as drusy crusts of aggregates
