Cleavage: none; brittle fracture
Crystals: cubes, with parallel striations     on faces; massive forms common
Color: pale yellow to brass-yellow
Streak: greenish black
Luster: metallic, shiny, often tarnished
Description
     A massive pyrite chunk showing no crystal shapes. Pyrite often is found this way and must be identified on its color, streak, and hardness.
