    directions at 90o;
Shape: cubes, or cube combinations
    sometimes massive;
Color: silver gray to dark lead gray;
Streak: dark lead-gray;
Specific gravity: 7.4 - 7.6 - heavy !
Luster: metallic, shiny to dull
Hardness = 2.5;
Description
     Here we can see the shiny metallic luster reflecting off one of the cleavage faces. Galena can appear dull, as the first two samples show, but when it cleaves it is almost always this shiny silver color.
