     This web page is not meant to be, nor can it be, a substitute for actually visiting the outcrops. If you have been on the trips you know that much, much more goes on, and is learned than could possibly be contained in these pages.
     On the other hand, after a while the fieldtrip stops begin to run together. You begin to forget what an outcrop looked like, or you begin to confuse outcrops in your memory.
     These pages are here to remind you what each outcrop looked like, and to spark your memory to remember what you did see and learn. There are also self tests, see below, that will help you organize, remember, and learn what all this means.
SELF TESTS
     It is not just enough that you know the formations we visited, you also need to be able to organize that knowledge. The Self Test page asks a series of questions to help you learn, remember, and identify the importance of each formation.
     The Self Test Page is designed for both Field Trips 1 and 2, but answers are parced out by each field trip.
