Return To #1 Here we see a finely disseminated example of epidote in a greenstone. The epidote is recognized here by the pistachio green color. Yellowish green (pistachio) to brownish black; glassy; hardness 6-7; long, slender, grooved, prismatic crystals, but often massive; perfect one direction cleavage lengthwise. |
